Youth Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training that teaches preventing and responding to mental health issues.  Hands-on learning and simulations demonstrate how to assess mental health signs and symptoms; engage in interventions and provide initial help; and connect young people to professional, peer, social, and self-help care. The Child Welfare Training Collaborative is offering Brain Development, Trauma, Resiliency, Cultural Competency and Psychological Safety.  Trainings are approved for three hours of continuing education for many credentials.  Check the calendar for new training dates added monthly.
